puzzle of the month, and I expected it to be a rough one, and Mr
Fludzinski did not disappoint. Virtually blank on the first pass, both
across and down, but I was able to break open the SE corner before I
caved in to red-letters, and then Googled for one answer. I refrained
from STOG, but I needed some help in the NW - just too many proper names
today. Oh well. Two 13-letter spanners and one 15-letter climber in a
sort of pretzel-like grid;
